Após denúncia de Haddad sobre perseguição, governo paulista manda identificar PMs

A segurança pública em São Paulo tornou-se centro de debates após o candidato ao governo paulista, Fernando Haddad (PT), denunciar uma abordagem intimidatória e totalmente fora dos padrões realizada pela Polícia Militar contra ele e seu motorista. Diante da gravidade do relato, a Secretaria de Segurança Pública do Estado determinou a identificação imediata das equipes policiais envolvidas na ação, ocorrida na zona sul da capital.

Segundo o relato detalhado por Haddad durante sabatina na OAB-SP, uma viatura da PM emparelhou com seu veículo por volta das 22h30, quando ele chegava à sua residência. Os policiais projetaram luz contra o candidato de forma ostensiva, sem solicitar documentos ou iniciar qualquer diálogo. Na sequência, a viatura passou a seguir o motorista de Haddad, que já estava sozinho, por cerca de 40 minutos no trajeto de retorno.

O advogado da campanha, Hélio Silveira, explicou que o trabalhador viveu momentos de extrema tensão sob a mira de policiais que portavam fuzis. Na tentativa de cessar o acompanhamento hostil, o motorista chegou a estacionar em frente a um hotel e questionou a equipe policial, recebendo apenas uma ordem ríspida para deixar o local. Em determinado momento do trajeto, a viatura chegou a encostar no para-choque do veículo do motorista.

A campanha de Haddad formalizou o questionamento sobre a conduta da corporação. Em resposta à repercussão do caso, a gestão de Tarcísio de Freitas acionou a PM para apurar os fatos e identificar as viaturas que atuavam na região. O episódio reforça a importância do debate sobre a necessidade de protocolos humanizados, transparentes e estritamente democráticos na atuação das forças de segurança pública.
